No, you do not need a physical card to start using our service. As soon as you receive an email from us starting with "Your account is now ACTIVE" sentence you can immediately start to use your phone card. This should take approximately an hour or two during our business hours, and about 1-2 days over the weekend and holidays.
Please note that how long it would take to activate your phone card account are estimations that can vary depending on how quickly we can confirm your account and credit card information for fraud protection purposes.
In addition to a toll-free 800 access number, we have local access number from several states and some international countries. You can find a complete list of our access numbers and rates while using it when you sign-in to your account and click on the How to Use link on the left side.
You can save 3 cents per minute when you call local access numbers; however, make sure that you have an all-calls-included sort of landline deal with your local phone company.
We also have an IP Phone which you can install on your PC and make calls for much cheaper. You must sign-in to your account in order to see rates and download the IP Phone application.
Always enter the # sign after your PIN code and after your destination number. This sign indicates that you finished entering digits and saves you about 3 seconds of wait time.
If you need to make a new call after the first one, simply wait for the other party to hang up. Our system will give you a new prompt after about 2-3 seconds. Alternatively, you can enter the # sign for a second (certain phone types do not work well for this option)
If you hear a message that says "The party you are calling is busy...", do not hang up. Our system will give you a new dial tone for you to try a new number or try the same number again.
No need to dial 011 or 00, but it will work either way. Simply dial the country code and number, followed by the # sign .
You do not have to use the PIN number if you use the Remember Me feature. Please click on the Remember Me link on the left side for more information.
Use Speed-dial numbers to save on dialing.
Note for dialing from Turkey: Some PBX systems misinterpret the # sign and you may get the busy signal. In that case, do NOT use the # sign.
Wait for the email that has this subject: "Thank you for purchasing a phone card" and read it carefully, because it has all the information you need about your phone card. This email, basically, means that your phone card account is active and you can start to use it as soon as you receive the email.
It normally takes 1-2 hours in business hours (Monday through Friday between 9am-6pm EST), other times it may take 1-2 days.
Follow the steps it shows and start using your phone card immediately. (Please note that this is only one-time process; so you will not get an activation email every time you fill your phonecard account.)
It is a very easy and short Sign-up Process: Simply click here and follow the rest of the instructions. After you complete your purchase, you will receive an e-mail within the 2 hours during business hours, (upto 2 days during weekends and holidays) with instructions on how to retrieve your PIN code and use your phone card. You can start using your phone card immediately after that one time process.
