This is a book of photographs providing cross sections about the lives of the Sephardic Jews living on Turkish soil for more than 500 years.

This album/book is a compilation of the black and white pictures taken by Laurence Salzmann, a famous American photographer, during his visits (1984-89), and it sheds light on the history of the period regarding the life style and point of view of that era.

The pictures in the book have been displayed in many countries at different times, including Turkey; they have been included in various collections.

After many years, Gozlem Publishing is offering this work by publishing it in two different languages, English and Turkish, for the enjoyment of anyone with an interest on the subject.
